One photo. Eight Jean Phil scenes. Oui Madame.
Jean Phil AI: your face in the Jean Phil videos.
Jean Phil, full name Jean Philanthrope, is an AI-generated French-style character posted by @jean_philanthrope since 17 September 2026: blond helmet bowl cut, moustache curled at the tips, houndstooth three-piece suit, deadpan stare. This site is an independent Jean Phil AI tool that puts the person or pet in your photo into eight of his scenes; it is not run by his creator.

What makes a good photo?
JPG, PNG or WebP, 300–6000 px per side, up to 30 MB. One person or one pet facing the camera in even light, no sunglasses; head to waist with the hands visible works best. Only yourself, your pet or an adult who agreed — no children or public figures.

How to make a Jean Phil video here
- 01
Pick a scene
Choose one of the eight scenes; each preview plays the original clip with its sound. Night Selfie is the one most people recognise, Apartment Shadowboxing is the original.
- 02
Add a photo and choose the costume
Upload one photo of yourself, your pet or an adult who agreed: face toward the camera, even light, no sunglasses. Pick the wig colour and style, the moustache (or none) and the suit.
- 03
Set the length and quality, then generate
Drag the length from 4 s to the whole scene and choose 480p, 720p or 1080p. The credit price updates on the button before you confirm. Rendering takes a few minutes; you can close the tab.
- 04
Download and post
Save the vertical MP4 with the scene’s sound and upload it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts as it is, with the AI-generated label switched on.
Example videos
His own clips, remakes by other creators and published examples from other generators, each credited to its source. None of these were made on this site; they show what the scenes look like with different people.
The eight scenes
Each scene is rebuilt from one of his clips: the camera, the moves and the sound are his, the person is you. The longest length is the whole clip; shorter lengths cut it off early.
Night Selfie (up to 18 s)Wide-angle night selfie beside a floodlit tennis court in the pink suit, eyes wide, then a fall onto the grass, legs in the air, and a wave. The most-copied clip.
Oyster Bar (up to 26 s)A plate of oysters on ice under a stained-glass brasserie ceiling, eaten one by one without a flicker of expression.
Street Dance (up to 24 s)A stiff, serious dance on a sunny street, then a slow walk straight up to the lens.
Café Terrace (up to 28 s)A long stare over a croissant and an espresso, a round of shadowboxing in the square, then a slow sip. The longest scene.
Park Flowers (up to 26 s)Dancing and boxing under a park tree, ending with a bouquet held up to the camera.
Living Room (up to 10 s)An energetic living-room dance with a high kick. The shortest scene, and the cheapest whole clip.
Apartment Shadowboxing (up to 23 s)The first viral clip: jabs and hooks in a small kitchen, finished with two thumbs up.
Bathtub (up to 15 s)Lying fully dressed in a foam bath, one hand on the forehead, splashing.
Night Selfie defaults to the pink suit, the others to brown; you can change the suit, wig and moustache in any scene. A female version keeps your own face and simply skips the moustache. Pets keep their face and fur and wear the wig, moustache and jacket.
Price: credits per video, no subscription
You pay per finished video. Every length and resolution has a fixed credit price, shown on the button before you generate, and failed videos are refunded. Packs are one-time purchases and credits never expire.

Prices are per finished video and include the character sheet. USD amounts use the Studio pack’s credit price; smaller packs cost a little more per credit. Each scene caps the length (10–28 s).
Seedance 2.5 is the only model. At 480p a 10 s video costs 61 credits, 15 s 90, the full 28 s 165; at 720p 10 s costs 133 and at 1080p 324. With the $69.99 pack one credit is about five cents.
What is Jean Phil AI?
Jean Phil AI means two things. First, Jean Phil himself is AI: Jean Philanthrope is a character generated with AI video tools, not a man with a haircut. His earliest known clip went up on Instagram on 17 September 2026 and his TikTok views passed one million within two days, according to Know Your Meme. The silent shadowboxing, the "Gang Gang" dance and the pink-suit night selfie by a tennis court are all AI output from the same account, and his creator has never been named.
Second, Jean Phil AI is the name people use for tools that put themselves into those videos. There are two ways to do it. In selfie-to-template tools you upload one photo and pick a scene copied from one of his clips; the model redraws the character with your face. In motion-transfer or video-to-video tools such as Kling 3.0 Motion Control, Seedance 2.5 in Dreamina or Viggle, you supply a motion reference (his clip or a video of yourself) plus a character image or prompt, and the model copies the movement. The CapCut "Me & Jean Phil" template is a third, simpler route: it swaps your face onto an existing clip inside the CapCut app.
This site does the first. You upload one photo of a person or a pet, choose one of eight scenes rebuilt from his original clips, pick the wig, moustache and suit, and set the length from 4 seconds to the whole scene (up to 28 s). GPT Image 2 draws a seven-view character sheet of your subject in that costume, then Seedance 2.5 animates it while following a line-art trace of the original clip, and the scene’s own sound is laid under the finished vertical MP4. Your face, skin tone, eye colour, age and build come from the photo; only the costume is Jean Phil’s.
Jean Phil is not a real person and this site is not his creator’s. It is an independent tool with its own pricing: 0 free credits at signup, then one-time credit packs from $5, no subscription. Videos you make are AI-generated and should be labelled as such when you post them.

Is Jean Phil real or AI?
- Is Jean Phil a real person?
- No. He is an AI-generated character. The tells are the ones reporters pointed to: a face that stays perfectly still, hands and fingers that drift during the punches, backgrounds that warp slightly, and a look that is identical in every clip.
- Is it a filter on a real actor?
- There is no evidence of one. The clips behave like generated video, not like a filtered recording, and nobody has come forward as the performer. Remakes by other people do use a real face, which is what tools like this one produce.
- Who made him?
- Unknown. The account has never named a person, a studio or the model used. Dexerto and Yahoo describe the operator only as the account behind the coin. This site is not that account.
- Is the $JEANPHIL coin official?
- It was promoted from the account’s own bio, so it is linked to whoever runs the account, but there is no company, team or legal entity behind "Jean Phil". No Jean Phil AI generator, including this one, has anything to do with it, and a site that asks you to connect a wallet to make a video is not making a video.
- Is the Toc Toc dance his?
- No. Toc Toc is a separate dance trend that people sometimes perform in his costume. His own dances are the stiff "Gang Gang" routine and the street dance; the scenes on this site are rebuilt from his clips, not from Toc Toc videos.
Jean Phil’s creator, the operator of @jean_philanthrope and anyone shown in the clips above have no connection with this site. Facts checked 16 October 2026.
On iPhone and Android, without an app
Everything happens in the browser. Open this page in Safari on an iPhone or Chrome on an Android phone, sign in, tap the upload box and pick a photo straight from your camera roll; HEIC photos from an iPhone are converted when you select them. There is no app to install, no CapCut project and nothing to type.
The video renders on our servers, so you can lock the phone or switch apps while it works. When it is ready, tap download: on iPhone choose Save Video in the share sheet and it lands in Photos; on Android it goes to Downloads and shows up in your gallery. The file is already 9:16 with sound, so TikTok, Instagram and YouTube take it as is.
A phone photo is also the best input. A selfie or a half-body shot with your hands visible gives the model what it needs for the punches; a screenshot forwarded through a chat app is softer and makes a softer face.
Ways to make a Jean Phil video compared

Before you upload
Independent, and not his creator
playjeanphil.com is not affiliated with the creator of @jean_philanthrope, with copycat accounts, with the $JEANPHIL coin, with jeanphilai.org, .com, .video, .app or .pro, or with CapCut, TikTok or ByteDance. Names appear only to say which character and which tools we mean.
No wallet, ever
This site never asks you to connect a crypto wallet, hold a coin or install anything. You pay for credits with a card through the checkout, or not at all. A "Jean Phil" page that wants a wallet before it makes a video is a different kind of site.
What happens to your photo
The photo is stored in your own folder in site storage so the video can be made and so you can reuse it; it is sent only to the model provider that renders the video. We never use it to train anything. Ask support@playjeanphil.com and it is deleted. Upload only yourself, your pet or an adult who agreed; no children and no public figures.
Posting rules
The output is AI-generated video of a real face, so switch on the AI-generated label on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Jean Phil’s look is a meme costume, not a licence to pass your video off as his account; do not use his handle or the coin in your caption.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a 10-second Jean Phil AI video cost?
Here, 61 credits at 480p, 133 at 720p or 324 at 1080p. The $5 trial is exactly one 10 s 480p video, and with the $14.99 pack (250 credits) you get 4 of them. For comparison, as of 16 October 2026 jeanphilai.org charges $9.90 for one 10 s video, jeanphilai.video about $5 and CastTake $2.99.
I only need one 8-second clip for Stories. Is there a free way without a watermark, a card or a subscription?
Free and clean at the same time, no. Signup gives 0 credits with no card, which makes one 0 s 480p video with a moving watermark; an 8 s clip costs 50 credits. The cheapest clean route is the $5 trial, a one-time payment that also unlocks the clean copy of your free test. There is no subscription on this site.
Can I upload a selfie and get the video in my browser, without installing anything?
Yes. The generator is this page. It works in Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox on a MacBook, Windows PC, iPhone or Android phone. Sign in, upload one photo, pick a scene and a costume, set the length, and download the MP4 a few minutes later. No desktop software, no CapCut and no prompt.
The site asks for a clear face photo and a Google sign-in. How do I know it is safe and that my photo is not used for training?
Check three things on any Jean Phil site: a named contact, a stated photo policy and no wallet prompt. Here the contact is support@playjeanphil.com, the photo is kept in your own folder in site storage and sent only to the model provider that renders the video, it is never used to train anything, and it is deleted when you ask. Sign-in is only there to attach videos and credits to your account.
Which version is most recognisable right now: the shadowboxing, the Gang Gang dance or the pink-suit edit?
On TikTok the pink-suit night selfie by the tennis court is the most-copied clip, so Night Selfie is the safest pick. Apartment Shadowboxing is the original clip and still the one people quote when they say "the French AI guy". Street Dance covers the stiff dance. Each scene keeps its own original sound, which is what makes it recognisable in the feed.
I want to test three versions before paying. How far do free credits go here, and what are the limits?
The 0 free credits pay for one 0 s video at 480p, not three. The cheap way to test three is the $5 trial or the $14.99 pack: at 480p, 4 s costs 27 credits and 10 s costs 61, so 250 credits is 4 ten-second tests. Limits are 4 to 28 seconds, 480p to 1080p and one subject per video. Failed videos are refunded.
For one birthday joke, is my own selfie here cheaper than a CapCut template?
A CapCut template is free if you already have the app and accept its export conditions; it pastes your face onto his existing clip. Here one video costs from 27 credits, so your free 0 credits cover a short watermarked one and $5 covers a clean 10 s one, with no monthly plan. The difference is that your whole head, hands and build are redrawn in the costume, not just the face.
What is the best tool for a Jean Phil video from a single photo?
If you only have a photo, a dedicated one-photo site is the shortest route: pick a scene, upload, download. Compared with jeanphilai.org and jeanphilai.video, this site adds a free first video, a $5 single-video trial, pets, a no-moustache option and sound on every scene. If you want your own movements copied, you need a motion-transfer tool such as Kling 3.0 Motion Control instead; see the comparison guide.
